Event Stylist Position

Multi award winning Atlantic Group [v] at Central Pier, Docklands is known for a cutting edge approach, has quickly earned a reputation as the destination for Melbourne's hottest parties and events.

Atlantic Group [v]'s four event venues in Shed 14 at Central Pier, Docklands (Peninsula, Atlantic, Sumac and Sketch) are side by side in an absolute waterfront location, all with individual styles and of variety of size (catering from 20 - 2500 guests). Adjacent Shed 9 houses an eclectic mix of hospitality tenancies from uber cool cocktail bar and nightclub Alumbra, Va Bene pizzeria e cucina to soon to be open pub and eatery The Woolshed.

Central Pier – the home of fashion™ embraces L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival as a signature event on Central Pier’s fashion calendar as well as a number of high profile events and clients including Professional Sporting Clubs, Gala Events, Charity Dinners, Cocktail Parties and Conferences. The recent move into Onsite catering has also expanded the company allowing for the tastemakers behind Atlantic Group [v] to translate their expertise into the most challenging locations.

Atlantic Group [v] has an exciting position now available for an experienced Event Stylist. The responsibilities of this role include translating the Atlantic Group [v] style and applying it across all Central Pier spaces ( Shed 9 and 14 ) on an internal basis as well as providing creative support to Business Development Manager’s and the Event Logistics team when pitching for new business.

 

The successful candidates must have:

• Previous experience working with 5 star/ luxury brands is essential
• Boutique catering experience with food styling experience is required
• Previous experience working with flowers in a floristry environment or interior design is desirable
• Must be able to work within budgets
• A keen eye and attention to detail
• Leadership qualities and ability to work in a dynamic team environment
• Ability to multi task and think on your feet
• Exceptionally presented and groomed
