CENTRAL PIER

Central Pier Docklands is a new cultural, community, entertainment and events hub in the booming Docklands region. Atlantic Group's $25 million re-development has brought to life this waterfront destination. Shed 14 is now home to 4 sophisticated and styish event spaces.
Adjacent Shed 9 is an eclectic mix of tourism and leisure tenancies including the Cocktail bar Alumbra, The Woolshed Pub and Bistro plus Sarina Russo Hospitality School, Jerry Ghionis photography and Va Bene Pizzeria.

The once dilapidated and dusty cargo sheds 9 and 14, built in 1914, have come to life, establishing a new benchmark in event and function spaces and a premium waterside cocktail bar and nightclub that breathe style and sophistication. Shed 14's 3,700 square-metre floor area has been subdivided into four distinct venues namely; Peninsula, MAIÀ, Sumac and Sketch.

Sympathetic to the heritage nature of the sheds, their exterior aesthetic has been retained whilst the inside has been sensitively redeveloped to accommodate new state-of-the-art facilities. The precinct has quickly earnt itself a reputation as the destination for Melbourne's hottest parties and events.

We acknowledge the traditional owners of this land, the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin nation. A sculpture on the Southern entry to Docklands has been erected as recognition and was inspired by Bunjil, the eaglehawk that is regarded as the spirit creator of the Kulin nations. The Wurundjeri people believe that Bunjil is a spiritual being who created people and all living things from the land. He keeps a watchful eye on people and offers guidance to those who choose to listen.

Our vision is to activate Central Pier, in Melbourne's Dockland as a great place to work, live and visit.
